In this role, you will be responsible for working with Levy Leadership and partner stakeholders to set the strategy for the deployment and focus of analytics insights across hospitality initiatives. This position will work closely with Sporting Kansas City and has the potential to support other venues in market (Arrowhead Stadium, CPKC Stadium, and T-Mobile Center). The expectation would be to primarily be working out of the Sporting Kansas City offices. Day-to-day responsibility includes establishing and advancing the methods, processes and standards of analytics and partner service that fuel the innovation that is driving Levy operations forward. Ultimately, this role will focus on analytics initiatives that measure and forecast project performance, assess economic value, and identify opportunities for improved outcomes, while overseeing the implementation of E15’s proprietary analytics platforms that empower operators with real-time insights and intelligent decision support.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work in a consultative role at all levels of an organization
  • 2-5+ years of experience in quantitative, analytical and/or client-facing businesses as well as experience interacting with internal organizational leadership
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business analytics, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage R, Python, SQL, and Tableau in analytical workflows
  • Experience in using data visualization tools, visual features of statistical software tools or Powerpoint to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in Excel, experience in financial modeling a plus
  • Experience in survey analytics
  • Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions

Responsibilities

  • General analytics support for Sporting Kansas City and KC market in partnership with Levy Restaurants – a leading hospitality company specializing in food & beverage service across sports & entertainment venues
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client and Levy stakeholders by understanding their strategies and business objectives
  • Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations in alignment with the partner goals
  • Develop deep knowledge of the venue’s physical layout, proposed technologies, and operational processes
  • Design and implement pricing, product, placement, and promotion strategies for concessions and premium distribution points, based on team objectives and fan feedback
  • Create and standardize reporting formats (e.g., heat maps, dashboards, slide decks, status updates) for use by partners and operators
  • Collaborate with the partner to support strategy development for new technology initiatives.
  • Communicate key guest insights and action items
  • Analyze and build optimal solutions around variable labor and cost of sales management
  • Leverage available artificial intelligence, consumer insights, and emerging technology tools to drive guest experience and profitability
  • Support, manage, or directly complete ad-hoc analytics projects as required
