About The Position

Walmart’s Item Policy team in Global Marketplace and eCommerce Compliance is responsible for working with compliance, legal, and business teams to define, develop, and enforce policies and programs to ensure compliant products are sold on Walmart.com. The Senior Analyst role plays a critical part of the Item Policy team, by supporting the building of controls and monitoring programs to ensure non-compliant items are not sold on Walmart.com. The Senior Analyst also supports the execution of our marketplace prohibited products policy by drafting policies and guidance to operations agents on prohibited and allowed items. This role will partner with various teams including Compliance, Legal, Merchandising, Operations, and Corporate Affairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • 1+ years of experience on Legal or Regulatory Compliance teams
  • Data Analytics & Visualization skills - Excel experience is required, Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong communication skills
  • Action-oriented, resourceful, and work with initiative
  • Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Can work cross-functionally to build strong work relationships resulting in program improvements

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of controls for our eCommerce platform by working with subject matter experts, legal, business teams, and others to understand compliance needs.
  • Works with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to monitor items sold on Wamart.com.
  • Helps support the creation of guidance and policy for Walmart’s marketplace prohibited products policy.
