Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? Pratt and Whitney has an exciting new opportunity with our Manufacturing Finance group for a Senior Analyst, Operations FP&A. This position will be an onsite position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location. What You Will Do: Department interacts with Global Supply Chain Finance, Shop Operations Finance (MC&O), P&W Subsidiaries, Manufacturing Accounting, Product Cost, Group FP&A. The position will give you the chance to identify opportunities to add value, as Global Supply Chain and Shop Operations are experiencing rapid growth due to the NGPF ramp up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 2+ years of applicable experience; OR an advanced degree in and 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Query Designer, HFM, PowerPoint, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Financial closing responsibilities.
  • Prepare capital actuals and consolidate shop data.
  • Book entries and report out on capital actuals to the shops.
  • Booking G&A entries and loading HFM.
  • Retrieve productivity metrics.
  • Provide monthly reporting/forecasting/analysis for capital, G&A and productivity.
  • Results & variance analysis are summarized and presented to Management.
  • Maintain high visibility financial reports/slide decks for Operations leadership to report on capital, G&A and productivity.
  • Conduct analysis to highlight potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Create and upkeep key metrics for shop operations with opportunities to present findings to management.
  • Manage the capital budget for ops.
  • Prepare capital council material and agenda for executive review.
  • Approve capital requests and provide capital appropriation numbers.
  • Manage the eCAR system.
  • Financial Reporting for P&W Operational Subsidiaries.
  • Support OMM and Plan book summaries (depending on time of year).
  • Work and assist on ad-hoc projects with Operations, Global Supply Chain, Product Cost.
