About The Position

About the Role Total Wine & More is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance & Accounting team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will support key financial planning routines, develop analytical insights, and contribute to forecasting and reporting processes that help inform leadership decision making. You will work independently on defined workstreams, applying strong analytical and data driven skills to assess financial performance across Human Resources. This role collaborates frequently with partners across Finance and the business, providing exposure to retail finance while strengthening cross functional relationships. You will report to the Director, FP&A and provide essential support to the Business Planning & Financial Analysis function. You will Develop and maintain financial schedules and analysis supporting cross functional programs (e.g., regulatory, compensation, benefits, planning). Implement processes that ensure timely, accurate inputs and assist with maintaining compliance and accountability across stakeholders Develop forecasts, planning inputs, and recast updates for assigned areas. Assess key assumptions, highlight impacts, and help communicate changes to Finance and business partners Prepare financial analysis, summaries, and reporting that distill complex data into clear insights. Implement updates to templates and maintain reporting accuracy to support leadership reviews Facilitate the collection and validation of financial inputs with cross functional partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-4 years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or related fields preferred
