The Maneuvers portfolio has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Contracts in the Precision Fires & Maneuver (PF&M) portfolio within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Business Unit. In this job, you will be responsible for supporting, managing, and administering a variety of contracts or Other Transactions (OT) and assist the Contracts Managers on the various contracts and OTs. The portfolio will include Firm Fixed Price, Cost Type and Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contracts. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts, Law, Supply Chain, Procurement/Acquisitions, Finance, or FAR and/or DFARS
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity or basic education on U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) and related government regulations
  • Familiarity or basic education on Government Property
  • Aptitude to support the review of RFPs, proposals and contractual documents for contractual requirements and risks
  • Aptitude to support proposal and contract negotiations to achieve business objectives while ensuring customer needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Contracts Manager/Lead in the following activities:
  • All phases of Contracts execution
  • Review and analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP)
  • Development of proposals
  • Proposal reviews and coordination
  • Negotiations
  • Contractual agreements
  • Other general contract administration responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Lead, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Proposal Manager, Business/Estimating and Supply Chain
  • Support program management and execution reviews
  • Examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise
  • Periodic travel to customer and Raytheon sites (25%)
