Cirrus Logic's Hardware organization is seeking a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team developing high-performance ASICs and for consumer markets. In this position, you will design circuits to enable common analog infrastructure that constitutes the backbone of Cirrus’ ASIC designs, including LDOs, precision references, oscillators, supply generators, and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes. This is an important position in a lively, exciting, and dynamic environment that provides excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of proven IC development experience, or MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of proven IC development experience, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong skills in CMOS analog design and layout supervision.
  • Strong frequency domain analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of using Matlab, Verilog-A, and System Verilog.
  • Organized and detailed with strong communication skills.
  • Possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in system and behavioral modeling
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Experience in planning, leading, and supporting analog subsystem designs

Responsibilities

  • Develop CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuitry and infrastructure platforms from concept to production
  • Model analog circuits in Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog
  • Simulate and verify circuit performance and functionality using Spectre and Maestro
  • Simulation and verification at the chip level using analog-on-top and digital-on-top methodologies
