About The Position

Venture Dynamics- Gulf is hiring for Senior Aluminum Welders in New Orlean, LA. Paying $28.75hr $110 per diem. You will be responsible for performing high-quality aluminum welding and fabrication while leading and supporting junior welders. This role requires advanced welding skills, strong knowledge of aluminum alloys, and the ability to read technical drawings to produce structurally sound and visually clean welds that meet safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in aluminum welding
• Strong expertise in TIG welding (MIG experience is a plus)
• Ability to weld various aluminum alloys and thicknesses
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ISO, or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

• Certified Aluminum Welder (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience with fabrication, cutting, and forming aluminum materials
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
• Ability to train and assess welding skills of team members

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced aluminum welding using TIG and/or MIG processes
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld aluminum components and structures
• Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards
• Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust parameters
• Inspect welds using visual inspection and measuring tools
• Troubleshoot welding defects and recommend corrective actions
• Lead, mentor, and support junior welders and fabricators
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
• Support production schedules and meet project deadlines
