Job Description: The Senior Alliance Marketing Manager develops, leads and tactically executes the Marketing strategy for a key technology alliance with HPE. From an understanding of market needs and insights, this individual creates alliance marketing strategy design, develops detailed alliance marketing tactics and executes the developed alliance marketing plan, in line with defined organizational marketing plays and goals. This role will work closely with product marketing teams, business units, geo marketing teams, sales force, alliance partners and other stakeholders, to accelerate the HPE sales process. Apply market, customer insights and technical acumen, as well as seasoned marketing experience and expertise, resulting in accelerated awareness, lead generation, and other marketing KPIs. Represents the voice of the customer in development of HPE alliance marketing strategy and execution of marketing plan. This is a US based telework role, with 40% travel.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years marketing experience.
  • Partner, sales, industry, channel experience or equivalent.
  • Understanding of MDF
  • Technical acumen with accelerated compute solutions, to enable technical engagements with internal stakeholders, alliance partners, the sales force and customers.
  • Ability to develop near-term and long-term strategic marketing plans, in coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to tactically execute on those plans, both as an individual contributor and as an influencer to the broader core team, with tangible influence and impact to the business

Responsibilities

  • Based on a strong knowledge of trends in the industry, affect the HPE strategy/direction of the marketing of HPE solutions and offers with the alliance partner.
  • Define and implement alliance marketing strategy changes internally, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination for HPE + alliance partner marketing activities.
  • Improve alliance marketing processes affecting their workgroup and interfaces.
  • Build HPE marketing strategy for the alliance partnership and execute that strategy with a strong degree of technical capability.
  • Seen by business and sales teams as an expert in the HPE + alliance solutions and can be called on to defend the benefits in front of customers, partners or internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and manage the MDF program ensuring alignment to business goals and partner needs.
  • Monitor and optimize MDF fund distribution and utilization to ensure the funds are used effectively and in line with marketing objectives.
