We’re looking for a Senior Technical Trainer to play a heightened role with department-wide accountability, being on point for creating connective tissue and integration of learning solutions for continuous tech upskilling offers for IT prioritized skills and experiences, driving technical enablement across IT division. Someone who can also integrate a culture of fun, excitement intermixed with gamification and learning. The right candidate should be able to bring in a differentiated degree of technical skill where the individual is expected to code firsthand to keep skills fresh, create practical/hands-on technical learning experiences, and embed learning into the flow of work where possible. This role will also be responsible for design and deliver impactful learning experiences that accelerate Vanguard’s adoption of AI and emerging technologies. This role focuses on creating customized upskilling workshops, enhancing social learning, and Deliver engaging technical training in physical and virtual environments using adult learning principles. Design & facilitate engaging training solutions —both in-person and virtual—and developing practical Workshops grounded in adult learning principles aligned to IT prioritized skills. Consult with business partners & Tech experts across IT sub divisions. Provide thought leadership of driving AI technical learning strategy, including highly complex AI space and recommend effective solutions for Vanguard IT Crew globally. Apply strong technical knowledge to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content. Leverage IT expertise to incorporate emerging technologies and comply with organizational standards. Evaluate training effectiveness using data and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Bring tech into planning and prioritization work effectively and appropriately. Navigate technical challenges and impediments.
