Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Technical Training Specialist for our Heating + Air Paramedics and our Plumbing Paramedics brands. Your experience in developing and delivering comprehensive creative classroom training material will play a critical role in ensuring our Franchise owners receive robust best in class training programs aimed to ensure they are fully equipped to run a successful franchise according to our established brand standards. This is a remote role where you will work from home but will require some travel. Requirements

  • Strong Analytical Skills - Ability to research and discern accurate and relevant information on industry related topics.
  • Excellent Writing Skills - Ability to write training courses, manuals, handouts, and other forms of documentation for the brand in a way that is easy to understand, organized and educational.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to break down complex ideas simply in live training and over the phone.
  • Strong Organization Skills – Ability to keep track of multiple projects at once and document progress and results effectively.
  • Strong Technology Competency - Computer savvy and strong working knowledge of industry equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Document real-world workflows and best practices by partnering closely with subject-matter experts, translating field knowledge into clear SOPs, job aids, and training materials.
  • Design and deliver practical training programs that support onboarding, ongoing development, and consistent execution across locations.
  • Build and improve training foundations, including curriculum, documentation, and learning tools, while collaborating with stakeholders and incorporating feedback from the field.
  • Develop and provide in-person & virtual instructor lead learning opportunities and create content for independent learning through our LMS.
  • Understand how to incorporate adult learning principles and blend learning methodologies as an effective training strategy.
  • Travel to training weeks around the country and occasional field visits with franchisees.
  • Coach franchise staff on effective sales techniques, customer relationship management, and complaint resolution.
  • Train on equipment, supplies, setting up a job site and finalizing services upon job completion.
  • Provide in depth industry safety regulation training, licensing requirements and OSHA compliance training.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the preferred procedures and equipment used in our industry, as well as emerging trends and innovations, to develop a robust strategy around how our brand should adopt or exceed current industry standards.
  • Stay abreast of new equipment, products, and supplies that may assist in the operations and regularly source appropriate products for testing with a focus on continuous improvement to the safety, performance, and affordability for the franchise owners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex concepts and deliver engaging training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Build rapport with franchise owners and staff, providing effective coaching and mentoring post training.
  • Be skilled at identifying and addressing training gaps and troubleshooting issues that arise during on-site training.
