As a Senior Administrative Support Specialist, you will play an important role in maintaining the administrative backbone within a DoD setting. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must hold a current secret clearance.
  • Experience in administrative support roles, preferably within a military or government setting.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and procedures is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong clerical and administrative skills are paramount.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling large volumes of paperwork and data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and solve problems proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized personnel records, ensuring compliance with Air Force and DoD regulations.
  • Data Entry: Enter updates, and other pertinent data into HR systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • File Maintenance: Organize, categorize, and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general clerical support such as answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective support to all personnel.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.
