About The Position

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst Intern to work alongside our Supply Chain Team and gain hands-on experience developing advanced analytical skills that will transform Costpoint data into actionable executive-level insights in order to make data-driven decisions. This is a fully in-person summer internship located in Germantown, Maryland. We are seeking a rising senior pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Industrial Engineering. Interns will work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Rising senior, majoring in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering
  • Data Driven Mind-set
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Effectively utilize standard office software and computer equipment
  • Proficient knowledge with Power BI, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional administrative staff duties in support of functional areas, gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
  • Contribute to the execution of projects and organizational objectives when asked
  • Create graphs and charts for various projects using spreadsheet and graphics software with direction
  • Create various documents and electronic information with direction
  • Update relevant data using database applications
  • Assist in compiling data to effectively drive decision-making
  • Assist in creating Power BI visuals and dashboards
  • Assist in coordinating conferences and special events; assist in making any necessary room rental, reservation or catering arrangements
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Assist in updating data to drive clear objectives in Supply Chain execution
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
