About The Position

This position will be responsible for providing general assistance to one or more attorneys in the Institutional Compliance section of the Office of General Counsel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming correspondence for responses required, deadline dates, scheduling of meetings, etc.
  • Prepare standard letters and forms and draft routine correspondence.
  • Prepares draft significant matter reports.
  • Finalize attorneys' correspondence, legal opinions, contracts, reports and other legal documents.
  • Prepare responses to subpoenas.
  • Maintain detailed database file on each active file, including all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintain attorneys' calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Coordinate attorneys' travel arrangements, prepare travel and leave forms, and submit expenses for attorneys' reimbursement.
  • Answer telephone, direct requests and/or take messages.
  • Prepare conference rooms and setup for meetings.
  • Greet clients/visitors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
