Brown & Brown is seeking an Administrative Associate to join our growing team in Lafayette, LA. The Administrative Associate supports the team by performing routine clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, document preparation, and operating office equipment. Guided by a team leader, the Administrative Associate helps maintain organized records and provides general administrative assistance across departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, data entry, filing, and operating office machines.
  • Answer phones, routes callers, and take and delivers messages.
  • Insurance policy processing, checking, and distributing in a timely manner.
  • Handling weekly deposits.
  • Sorting and handling incoming mail for all Gulf States offices.
  • Office supply inventory management.
  • Maintains files, records, or reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
