About The Position

Michael Jay Raymond is an independent Wealth Advisor of Thrivent Financial. We take a broad-based approach to helping our clients achieve multiple financial goals. His practice helps our clients analyze their current situation, develop in-depth financial programs, and help them implement an integrated financial strategy. The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide high level support to the Lead Advisor, Michael Jay Raymond, by handling various tasks as they arise and participating in client meetings. This individual will be the point person for the lead advisor. Working closely with the Lead Advisor, this role will prioritize tasks, ensure effective communication, and manage urgent requests, even if they occur outside of regular working hours, in a collaborative manner. This is a full-time, in-office position out of Hendersonville, NC. There will be office hours in Asheville, NC once a week when the Lead Advisor is there. This position requires some travel with the team to meet with out of state clients - less than 7% of job. Compensation: $50-55,000 annually dependent upon experience. Benefits: 2 weeks paid time off. Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative assistant or other relevant job experience required
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Lead Advisor's calendar and schedule meetings on their behalf.
  • Anticipate the daily needs of the Lead Advisor, such as arranging meals, adjusting meetings, and coordinating travel.
  • Book and coordinate personal and business travel, including lodging.
  • Handle logistics, coordination, agenda, and minutes for monthly meetings. Including ordering meals and requesting agenda items.
  • Monitor and manage the Lead Advisor 's email, sending emails on their behalf as necessary.
  • Schedule and reschedule personal appointments
  • Coordinate large group one-off meetings and group travel arrangements for client trips and events.
  • Register the Lead Advisor for various conferences (Regional, Annual Meeting).
  • Process expense reports for the Lead Advisor
  • Fill out incentive and education logs for incentive trips.
  • Track and organize birthday acknowledgements for staff members.
  • Maintain records and facilitate acknowledgements for Financial Representative anniversaries.
  • Handle various projects as assigned.
