This position provides high-level, more complex secretarial and administrative support to senior management employees or groups within M&T Bank. The role involves acting as a liaison between the manager and bank personnel, responding to departmental questions and issues, and creating non-routine correspondence. Key responsibilities include performing high-level administrative and project assignments to ensure smooth departmental operations, preparing business presentations, management letters, agendas, and meeting minutes. The assistant will also manage the manager's calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate travel arrangements, and handle disbursements, billings, and financial expense records. Adherence to applicable compliance/operational risk controls, promoting an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand, and maintaining M&T internal control standards are also crucial aspects of the role.
