About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to support and optimize our accounts receivable operations. This role is responsible for maintaining Broker receivables, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely collections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with broker business cash applications and premium reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly reconciliations of premium receivables between policy administration systems and the general ledger (e.g., Oracle).
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in receivable accounts including Premiums Receivable, Suspense, and Broker Control Accounts.
  • Monitor AR aging reports and initiate collections on past-due accounts.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Treasury, GL, UW & Broker teams) to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of collection efforts and reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Support external audits and provide requested documentation.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of core policy administration systems and demonstrate expertise in conducting account analysis.
  • Provide back-up support for daily cash application processes as needed, ensuring tasks are completed promptly due to their time-sensitive nature.
  • Oversee and resolve unallocated cash efficiently, maintaining timely and accurate records.
  • Manage high volume of both internal and external communications daily.
  • Process monthly Broker commission payments and handle Broker refunds in accordance with established procedures.
