About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our team. This role involves collaborating with the SAP S/4HANA implementation team, supporting general accounting tasks, and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general accounting and audit support.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA and Sage 500.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SAP S/4HANA implementation team to support the system transition from Sage 500 to SAP.
• Assist with general accounting close activities, including reconciliations, postings, and financial statement preparation.
• Provide audit support, including documentation requests and footnote preparation.
• Backfill accounting responsibilities during month-end close and audit periods.
• Transition into recurring day-to-day accounting tasks starting February to allow internal team members to focus on SAP testing.
• Work extensively in Excel to support reporting and reconciliation needs.
• Participate in conversations with the implementation team and contribute to process improvements.
