Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Preference given to local candidates

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounts payable functions in accordance with HDR’s procedures.
  • Process vendor invoices and submit to the corporate finance and accounting team.
  • Prepare and manage financial aspects of seminars, conferences, and events (both internal and external).
  • Assist with the review and approval of employee timesheets in compliance with HDR timekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Review and accurately code area Purchase Card transactions in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to current policies, while maintaining the ability to adapt quickly to changes in procedures and policy updates.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding office-related purchases.
