About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to serve as an integral part of the accounting team and will be responsible for more advanced transactional and analytical duties. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and the ability to analyze financial data. The Senior Accountant will also assist with various reporting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Requirements

  • We are looking for an Accounting Professional with 3-5 years’ experience in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review sales program data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct warranty expense analysis and report on financial impacts.
  • Review freight and logistics-related costs and offer insights for cost optimization.
  • Assist with monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the audit process.
  • Provide guidance to junior accounting staff on accounting best practices and procedures.
  • Review transactional inputs for proper classification and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for internal management.
