Senior Accountant

MirrorWebAustin, TX
$120,000 - $140,000Hybrid

About The Position

MirrorWeb is an intelligent communications supervision platform built for regulated financial services firms. Compliance teams are drowning in data but starving for signal, and we fix that with AI-native supervision that's explainable, defensible, and built for regulatory scrutiny. MirrorWeb is PE-backed, growing fast, and operating across two countries. The accounting function has scaled with us: multi-currency transactions, SaaS revenue recognition, dual-entity audits, and this role owns it. You'll be the person who keeps the books clean, the close fast, and leadership informed. If you’re hoping to become an Accounting Manager within 1-2 years, this is the role for you. You'll own the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting that underpin MirrorWeb's growth across US and UK entities. This is a hands-on role with real scope. If you want to inherit a finished system, this isn't it. If you want to build one, it is.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a B2B or B2C SaaS company, or public accounting experience at a firm doing financial audits (translatable and welcome here)
  • CPA certified
  • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliations
  • Experience with mid-market accounting systems (NetSuite or similar. QuickBooks alone isn't enough for what we need)
  • Startup mentality: you're comfortable with ambiguity, change, and building process rather than following one handed to you

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close: managing complex transactions, resolving issues, and keeping the process tight and documented
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations across US and UK entities
  • Handle sales tax compliance across multiple states as we exceed thresholds, and support US and UK audit preparation year-round
  • Build and document internal accounting policies, controls, and processes that scale with a growing business
  • Optimise our accounting stack: Rillet, Maxio, and connected platforms to keep billing, CRM, and finance in sync
  • Support day-to-day cash operations and provide visibility into multi-currency exposure

Benefits

  • $120K–$140K base, commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with 3% non-elective employer contribution
  • 20 days PTO + your birthday off + paid sick leave
  • Enhanced family leave
  • $100/month Juno flexible lifestyle allowance (wellness, learning, whatever matters to you)
  • Equity Appreciation Rights: share in what we're building
  • Life assurance
