Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Competence in all financial and accounting principles and processes.
  • Proficiency in using office productivity software such as MS Office, Oracle, and other financial systems.
  • 3-5 Years of accounting competence.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • General knowledge around continuous improvement or lean concepts is a plus
  • Knowledge of SEC and other government regulations.
  • Knowledge of Sox legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and posts financial journal entries including intercompany eliminating entries.
  • Reviews and analyzes general ledger account balances.
  • Verify accuracy of ledger entries and makes recommendations for corrections.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and balance sheets.
  • May serve as mentor for lower-level accountants.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
