About The Position

Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant . This role is critical in managing financial reporting, month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and experience in a government contracting environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in government contracting.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DCAA compliance .
• Proficiency in Unanet (required).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage and execute month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and DCAA requirements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support audits and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
