Position Overview: The Senior Accountant accurately prepares accounting records and reviews overall performance. This role is responsible for general ledger accountability, financial reporting, financial profitability analysis, and other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial controls.
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or CPA certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger by recording transactions, ensuring accuracy, and preparing journal entries.
  • Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of account reconciliations.
  • Audit and verify transaction documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, including financial records and statements for management.
  • Investigate variance issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
