About The Position

The Senior Accountant works with the corporate Finance team to ensure accurate accounting, proper internal controls and timely financial reporting and analysis for the company.

Advanced technical ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting required.
1 - 3 years of Accounting experience is required.
Expert knowledge of all accounting functions, processes and procedures, including GAAP requirements.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with month end closing, monthly financial statement preparation and analysis.
Responsible for monthly closing entries and reconciliations.
Identify and research variances within monthly financial statements.
Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Prepare daily report.
Review and post monthly credit card activity.
Maintain fixed asset files.
Assist with coordination of annual audit.
Back up for A/R and A/P as needed.
Partner with team members to drive overall business improvements.
Promotes and facilitates continuous improvement activities.
Supports the development and maintenance of adequate internal accounting controls.
Assist with forecasting, analysis, and miscellaneous projects.
