About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven full-time Senior Account Manager to join our Temporary Staffing Workers Compensation team. This is an opportunity to join an experienced team that supports one of the largest wholesale temporary staffing programs in the country. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, team oriented, and highly collaborative environment, with frequent communication and partnership among program leadership, senior account managers, and lead program producers. This role is responsible for managing and retaining a book of business, building, and maintaining strong relationships with agency partners and carrier underwriters and delivering exceptional service throughout the renewal process. The Account Manager will play a critical role in negotiating competitive renewal options, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in policy servicing, and contributing to best-in-class customer experience within the wholesale brokerage industry. Requirements

  • Active P&C license or ability to obtain within 120 days
  • 4-7 years of workers compensation experience in an agency, carrier, or wholesaler setting
  • Experience managing a book of business within underwriting guidelines
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work across internal teams, carrier partners, and agency networks
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business and performance reports
  • Agency management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Temporary Staffing Service’s workers’ comp book of business to meet established yearly retention goals
  • Deliver competitive renewal options that meet our agency partner requests and expectations to secure renewal policy
  • Exhibit strong decision-making skills to direct, monitor and respond to partner agents in a timely and professional manner on all regional policy inquiries and requests
  • Provide agent onboarding of all new policies to deliver clear understanding of carrier requirements, claims reporting, billing and policy service expectations
  • Build solid carrier relationships to expedite solutions to our agents/policyholders
  • Be proactive with agents and internal staff on updates on significant policies changes or events that affect policies or regional books
  • Maintain active policy records and add documentation within our data management system
