About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. This hands-on, client-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives on independently leading accounts, building trusted relationships, and ensuring work is executed flawlessly while collaborating with a small, nimble team. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring account health, client satisfaction, and ongoing growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in agency account management, ideally with senior living expertise, specifically in continuing care retirement communities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple accounts and run the day-to-day without heavy oversight.
  • A relationship-first mindset and confidence in leading client conversations and problem-solving independently.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a growth environment while staying flexible, autonomous, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, maintaining strong relationships and acting as a trusted marketing partner.
  • Collaborate with project managers, creative teams, and internal specialists to deliver campaigns and programs on time and on budget.
  • Guide colleagues account strategy while remaining hands-on with account execution.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, manage expectations, and handle sensitive conversations with confidence.
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, and project workflows to ensure smooth and successful delivery.
  • Monitor account performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance results.
  • Relieve directors from day-to-day account responsibilities.
  • Contribute ideas, insights, and creativity to elevate the work and to strengthen client partnerships.
