About The Position

Senior Accounts Manager Needed! Currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead a team of service electricians. The SAM will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning, to ensure that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company’s management team in a decision-support capacity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry
  • Must be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians.
  • Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU's; a MUST
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.)
  • Solid Communicator – excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and application of relevant safety requirements that apply to the specific work being done.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • Ability to work long hours and variable schedules on occasion, including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within the limits of the position

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor
  • Managing Projects for Electrical installation of Equipment for high profile projects is a plus

  • Observes rules and regulations to comply with personal and workplace safety standards
  • Works to create a hazard free, accident free environment
  • Establishes clear and realistic direction of organizational goals and employee roles and responsibilities
  • Maintains staff motivation and focus on goals and priorities
  • Ensures that departmental goals match those of the organization and that makes sure resources are allocated to meet priorities
  • Proven and successful track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail and reflects well on the organization
  • Personally committed to high quality work and encourages others to have similar standards
