About The Position

We are seeking a driven and experienced National OEM Account Manager to lead sales growth for our Marine custom fuel tanks and proprietary fuel product lines for North America. This role is responsible for executing our strategic sales plan, driving new business development, and strengthening relationships with existing customers in the marine market OEM segment. As a manufacturer with multiple production locations, we sell directly to business customers and rely on strong technical knowledge, relationship-building skills, and a proactive sales approach. A solid understanding of the OEM Marine markets is essential for success in this role. This position is based in Bristol Indiana, but the selected candidate must reside in the Northern Indiana area and be willing to travel throughout the region, including occasional overnight trips.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, engineering, or related field
  • Excellent math and computer skills
  • Prior experience with manufacturing sales to OEM customers is required.
  • Prior experience selling custom products required.
  • Five years’ experience developing business relationships.
  • Understanding or manufacturing technology
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Initiative-taker with the ability to change direction as the market changes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the sales plan within the assigned territory and meet sales targets.
  • Develop new business and grow existing accounts in the OEM Marine industrial chemical market.
  • Promote our full line of proprietary and custom Marine products and match solutions to customer needs.
  • Contact new and existing customers to understand requirements and present product options.
  • Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product use information; negotiate terms as needed.
  • Maintain records of leads, opportunities, and account activity; submit contracts and orders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support customer needs and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attend trade shows and sales meetings to build relationships and stay informed on market trends.
  • Share market feedback and selling strategies with colleagues to support team success.
  • Have a working knowledge of marine products and installation standards with ABYC and NMMA to ensure customer compliance with fuel system design and installations.
  • Working knowledge of marine requirements for federal compliance with the EPA and US Coast Guard.
  • Work internally with engineering and manufacturing on recommended product innovations and required product modifications.
  • Develop relationships with outside vendors for the use of outside products to complement product design offerings and total system compliance.
