About The Position

The Senior Account Manager, Investment Specialist drives traditional & alternative product conversations, placements, discretionary allocations, and servicing discussions across a broad client segment of professional buyers. As a subject matter expert in strategic relations, this job seeks out co-product build opportunities working with sponsor firm and the organization's global product management team. The role involves primary engagement with manager research and firm discretionary teams, focusing on building high-quality, sustainable relationships and identifying near-term opportunities related to the sponsor’s lineup of investment options. The position also coordinates with the Head of Investment Specialists Team Head on needed affiliate level interactions/product focuses and has potential for personnel management responsibilities over time. Requirements

  • 5+ Years Work Experience
  • FINRA Series 7
  • FINRA Series 63
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self starter with ability to organize & execute upon competing priorities to meet goals and objectives
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure while fostering a team environment
  • Professional demeanor with high degree of service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with strong interest in the capital markets; willingness to learn new strategies
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively at times (potentially more than 3 days per week)
  • FINRA Series 7/66 required within 6 months of employment

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ Years Work Experience Preferred
  • Business or finance major preferred
  • At least 10 years of industry experience preferred
  • CFA, CAIA and/or MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of account management experience preferred
