About The Position
Works with Installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls for our commercial clients with access control, burglar and camera systems. Requires excellent communication skills Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply “best practices” theory Strong problem-solving skills Ability to create in the field solutions Ability to use hand and power tools Some travel required Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas: Key Job Responsibilities:
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience of Access Control - telephone entry units, proximity readers, RFID readers, barcord readers, magnetic locks, door strikes, egress devices, etc (DoorKing, ButterflyMX, Latch, Dormakaba, Kantech)
- Minimum 5 years experience of CCTV - IP cameras, HD cameras, cabling, NVR setup, etc
- Minimum 3 years experience of Burglar Systems - wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, set up monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Clean driving record and background check
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience
Responsibilities
- Complete access control, camera systems, burglar systems installs and setup, including running cable, installing equipment, programming and client training
- Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex systems
- Networking/data system install and setup
