About The Position

Brooks Automation is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Technical Curriculum Developer & LMS E-Learning Developer to support global service training for advanced semiconductor automation equipment. This is a hands-on, on-site role working closely with service engineers, subject-matter experts, and global training teams. This role spans mechanical, electrical, and equipment-level software domains. The ideal candidate combines real engineering experience, instructional design expertise, and modern e-learning development skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of experience in technical curriculum development or e-learning.
• Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or software/controls).
• Hands-on experience with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• LMS and content management experience.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Semiconductor equipment experience preferred.
• Articulate Storyline or Rise preferred.
• Video editing tools (Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, After Effects) preferred.
• SCORM / xAPI preferred.
• Asian language proficiency (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin preferred) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain technical training curricula for semiconductor service engineers.
• Translate complex mechanical, electrical, and software systems into clear learning paths.
• Develop e-learning modules using an LMS and authoring tools (SCORM / xAPI).
• Create and edit technical training videos and animations.
• Manage content lifecycle, version control, and localization readiness.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing SMEs.
• Occasional travel as needed.
