About The Position
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a motivated and outgoing individual with the availability for work weekends to work with a young school aged male with a developmental disability that lives with his parents. In this role, you will help him learn key independent living skills, experience social activities in the community, and work on communication and time concept skills. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, be energetic, and motivated. It is a plus if applicant enjoys Legos, swimming, books, and History. Schedule: Approximately 10 hours a week total. (5 hours of Respite and 5 hours of Community Habilitation) Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with individual/family, but weekend availability preferred. Location: North Syracuse
Requirements

- Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency
