Exceptional Family Resources- Self-Direction DSP
About The Position
ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an active and social young man who enjoys legos, playing video games, and going to the YMCA. He recently finished attending Inclusive U and would like to begin preparing for living independently in the future. In this role, you will help him learn and strengthen independent living skills including money and household management skills so that he can achieve this goal. In addition, you would accompany him to social, recreational, and physical fitness activities in the community. He is seeking someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and active. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience. Hours and days of work : Hours are flexible and can be worked out with the family upon hire. It would generally be daytime, weekday hours, but could include some evenings or weekends for activities. Up to 30 hours per week. Payrate: $22.00/hour Location: Jamesville Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
