About The Position

Leader Bank Pavilion’s Security plays a key role in venue safety and guest services during our concert and commencement season. We are hiring now for our May 2026 – October 2026 season. Security screens guests, monitors venue access, and ensures a fun and safe concert environment for all by upholding venue policies. Security will operate with metal detector equipment and other equipment as needed. Event shifts are typically in the evening, although some events will take place during the day. Evening availability is required. The starting rate for this position is $20/hour.

Requirements

  • Ages 18 and up
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and in some cases motor vehicle background checks.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and working on your feet.
  • Some, but not all, positions must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
  • Require nights, weekends, and potentially holiday work (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day) in all types of weather.
  • Positions for all applicants will be assigned based on training, availability, skills, previous experience and needs for that evening’s show.
  • All applicants must be able to commit to at least 50 percent of shows. You may not be picked for all the shows but must be available.
  • Tolerance of loud noises.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Passion for and proven experience building a diverse workplace by utilizing diversity job platforms, partnering with diverse colleges and community organizations
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Action-oriented and results-driven individual
  • Passion or interests in music, technology and media

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Security/Law Enforcement experience.
  • Guard Card a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including our business partners and artists, in a professional way
  • Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
  • Adapt to the security needs of our diverse artists, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other people to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
  • As needed, write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue; uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
  • Operate walkthrough metal detecting devices and hand wands to screen individuals and check bags, preventing passage of prohibited articles into the venue.
  • Greet guests, answer guest questions, assist guests with navigating the venue
  • Ability to memorize, recollect and quickly implement various training methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Warn people of code of conduct infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises in a professional and courteous manner.
  • All non-union staff working to the end of a concert will be required to help in the post-concert venue clean-up process (commonly referred to as the Post-Show Pick).
