Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first! The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising all security and fire watch personnel. Duties include overseeing daily security and fire watch operations, investigating incidents and presents reports to management, and working with the Director of Security to identify risks and implement preventative measures. This career requires previous experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role, familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm, and fire systems), and creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues and provide solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of emergency response, security protocols, and relevant regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm, and fire systems).
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues and provide solutions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or another related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, trains, schedules, and evaluates all security and fire watch personnel.
  • Oversees daily security and fire watch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Investigates incidents, responds to emergencies, and prepares incident reports.
  • Monitors and maintains security systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control, and fire systems.
  • Ensures personnel completes vehicle and equipment checks, as well as enters work tickets for repairs.
  • Works with the Director of Security to identify risks and implement preventative measures.
  • Liaises with law enforcement, emergency services, and international stakeholders.
  • Compiles and presents security and safety reports to management.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
