The Security Supervisor supports the execution and coordination of Loss Prevention and security programs across 57 Movado Company Store locations. This role oversees third-party agency security guards supporting company facilities and special events and works closely with the Director of Loss Prevention to assist with internal investigations, remote auditing, and initiatives that strengthen inventory and cash control practices. The position helps ensure consistent compliance with physical security, safety, and operational standards across the organization. This role is based at the Moonachie, NJ distribution center and may require travel to retail locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Loss Prevention, security, or related operational security roles in a corporate, retail, warehouse, or distribution center environment.
  • Experience supporting investigations, including documentation and evidence collection.
  • Experience coordinating vendors or service calls and supporting basic troubleshooting of security systems preferred.
  • Functional, user-level understanding of CCTV, access control, and burglar alarm systems, including basic network connectivity concepts.
  • Comfortable training store teams and communicating expectations clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze trends and identify root causes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to respond to emergency alarm calls on an as-needed basis, including outside of standard business hours.
  • Ability to travel domestically as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Investigations, Audits & Compliance Support internal investigations, including evidence collection related to internal incidents, inventory variances, cash discrepancies, workers’ compensation, and general liability claims.
  • Conduct remote operational, safety, and internal audits for all store locations; maintain documentation and summarize trends for the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Support reporting and tracking of external theft, burglary, and robbery incidents and coordinate with local authorities as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy across store locations by investigating variances and identifying root causes.
  • Research and respond to cash variances in partnership with the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Security Systems & Vendor Coordination Coordinate third-party service calls for repair and maintenance of security equipment across distribution centers, corporate offices, and retail locations.
  • Assist with burglar alarm system maintenance and provide end-user support to resolve system issues.
  • Coordinate monthly burglar alarm testing for all company locations.
  • Assist with remote troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, and burglar alarm systems.
  • Follow up with third-party technicians to ensure service visits are completed and documented.
  • Retail, Warehouse & Event Support Support security needs for special corporate events and new store openings, including scheduling third-party guard services when required.
  • Coordinate and distribute safety and loss prevention awareness materials to retail locations.
  • Support security-related repairs and maintenance across retail stores and facilities.
  • Third-Party Guard Oversight Oversee third-party security guard services by coordinating schedules and coverage needs.
  • Provide site-specific training and guidance to agency guards to ensure alignment with company expectations.
  • Monitor guard performance and address issues in partnership with the agency and Director of Loss Prevention.
