About The Position

Ensures the security and safety of the guests, team members, cash and physical assets of the Agua Caliente Casino. Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to Casino policies and Procedures. Prepares the schedules of the Security Officers. Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Security Department. Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, count-room and cash handling Procedures. Maintains and controls access to restricted Casino areas. Ensures the safety of guests and team members during Casino operations. Maintains Security Department First Aid supplies. Maintains all required Security Department Logs. Logs, stores, and completes reports for all Lost and Found Property. Fosters and maintains positive player/house relations. Will perform the duties and functions of a Security Officer when assigned or required. Directly supervises subordinate supervisors and employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Three (3) years experience in Security/Law Enforcement and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must meet certification criteria (First Aid, CPR and AED).

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of P.O.S.T certifications, or P.C. 832 training is desired, but not required.
