What We’re Doing: Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS), Program Security and Compliance invites you to step up to one of today’s most daunting challenges: the protection of exquisite government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near peer adversaries. As a program security professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you’ll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected. The Work: Duties will include but are not limited to: Responsible for documenting and tracking all collateral classified being transmitted in and out of the Manassas facility in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Obtain and sign all receipts that classified has been received. Conduct and support self-inspections as directed by the FSO. Support DCSA Vulnerability Assessment of program(s). Ensure proper destruction of classified material. Conduct inventories of classified material prior to destruction and maintain records of material destroyed, as appropriate. Conduct a 100% annual review of classified holdings as directed by the FSO. Conduct reviews of classified containers on a regular basis ensuring materials are properly marked in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Issue and control media used with classified areas. Utilize multiple databases for the purpose of sending/receiving collateral visits execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
