Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols appropriate for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall premises, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and support a welcoming environment.
Observe, report, and document any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with location management, Allied Universal team members, and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.
Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to assist customers, visitors, and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.
Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures provided by Allied Universal and the location.
