As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any unusual activity.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior as outlined in site protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist with crowd management during peak hours or special events to help to deter disruptions within the location.
