As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout your shift. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by verifying credentials, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by performing access control procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and Allied Universal as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related breaches, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with visitor and contractor management by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations, helping to maintain an orderly environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
