As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
Document and report all unusual activities, security-related incidents, and/or policy violations to appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain a secure environment aligned with client requirements.
