As a Security Professional - Hospital Patrol Driving in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Hospital employees must have required vaccinations.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazardous situations, or unusual behavior, to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Assist patients, staff, and visitors with directions or information as needed, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect property and individuals within the healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and/or concerns as they arise.
