As a Security Professional - Government Armed Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents through visible patrols and strong communication. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you monitor assigned areas and interact with staff and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and others while maintaining a professional presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas as assigned, maintaining awareness of surroundings throughout assigned shifts.
Report any security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or hazards to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel as needed during incidents.
Complete required documentation, logs, and reports related to security-related activities and incidents.
