As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. You will monitor access, oversee badge entry, and respond to security-related situations, all while representing Allied Universal's values of reliability, innovation, and teamwork in a people-first environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents observed at the front desk.
Assist with visitor and contractor check-in and check-out processes, providing directions and information as needed.
Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and/or visitors to address questions and concerns.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with established procedures.
