Job Description As a Security Guard - Alarm Panel Monitor in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of order, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
Report and document any unusual incidents, observations, or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as necessary.
