Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the chemical or petrochemical location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing access badges as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
Observe and report any unusual or security-related activity to proper authorities and Allied Universal management.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures at the location.
