As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Interact with staff, visitors, and customers in a courteous manner while providing a visible Allied Universal presence.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as any site-specific requirements, while performing armed patrol duties.
