As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Armed guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
Monitor access points and check credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry onto the premises.
Observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or Allied Universal management.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly with team members, site staff, and local law enforcement as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
Remain alert to any unusual conditions or activities within the location and respond according to established protocols.
